This is a hands-on, high-impact and high-speed development role where your experience will directly shape how O-Robotics grows, technically and culturally.

What you’ll do

• Establish and expand the software development team
• Define and implement a development framework (Agile / SCRUM / CI/CD) suited for robotics
• Shape our use of ROS2 and NAV2, ensuring robust navigation and system architecture
• Establish GitHub workflows, Docker structures, and testing pipelines for scalable, maintainable code
• Develop the integration of AI and machine learning tools for perception, autonomy, and data-driven decision-making

You’ll collaborate directly with the founders and early engineers, influencing every aspect of our technical foundation.

The working location can be either Aarhus or Odense, Denmark.

Who you are

• An experienced robotics software developer, team lead, or architect with proven delivery of real-world robots
• Experienced with ROS2, NAV2, and modern DevOps tools (Docker, GitHub Actions, CI/CD)
• Familiar with or actively using AI frameworks in robotics, for perception, mapping, or planning
• Skilled in designing production grade software systems and processes that can scale
• Motivated by the idea of building something new, efficiently and elegantly

We are seeking a partner to join the managing team, ensuring that our continued software development is of the highest quality.
